Cold Saw & Band Saw Cutting for Plate, Sheet, Tubing, & Rod
Hillman offers Plate & Band Saw cutting services that can cut a variety of special metals, including Stainless Steel, Copper, Copper-Nickel and Brass. Plate saw cutting is generally performed with either a saw blade or band saw. Both are ‘cold processes’ which do not impart large amounts of heat into cut steel. Depending on the material, the operator can use lubricants to keep the saw blade or band saw blade cool. Our saws can cut up to 6” plate into 10 feet long strips with minimum kerf loss.

No, we do not. We have a $75 Dollar minimum Delivery Charge.
It is our goal to respond to all quotes with normal inventory items in 2 hours or less. There may be items we do not currently have in inventory or require Mill buys, that may take up to 24 hours to return a response.
