What is Sheet? 

A sheet is a cast and rolled product that is rectangular in shape, with a thickness equal to or greater than .006" and less than .250". Sheets may have a slit, sheared, or sawed edge. As a Brass, Bronze, and Copper sheet supplier, Hillman offers sheet product in the following configurations:

• Coiled Sheet - Most common configuration as shipped from the Producer.
• Flat Sheet - Sheet cut to length to a specific size on equipment designed to remove the "Coil Set" and provide a flat product similar to a deck of playing cards.
• Mill Finish Sheet - Sheet having a non-uniform finish that may vary from sheet to sheet, as well as within the sheet. This product may have discoloration, and may not be completely free from stains or oil.

What is Plate?

Plate is a Cast and Rolled Product that is rectangular in shape, and with a thickness equal to or greater than .250". Generally, plate has an edge that is sheared or flame cut. It can be sawed as well.
